Skype 導入

もうかなり有名な Skype 。うちの Mac にインストールした。
IP電話で国際電話が安くなったが、それを上回る。
それはなぜか？
「パソコンさえあれば通話無料だからである」

インターネットもいるけどね。
実質ヘッドセットなども必要ならば買う必要があるけども、

内蔵マイクとスピーカーで通話が出来る。
私は Logitech (日本では Logicool)のヘッドセットを購入。

Skype はP2P 技術を採用した電話でユーザー同士が直接つながることになる。それにメッセンジャーの様な機能もついていて、Windows ならばビデオチャットも出来る。

自宅にはパソコンがないので、Skypeout というサービスを利用。これはプリペイドである程度クレジットを購入し、そこから利用した分の料金が引き落とされる仕組みになっている。

私が購入したのは￥1500だが、大体10時間通話可能。レートとかの差はあるが、ほぼ１分２円で日本にかけることができる。日本の市内通話より安いやん、、。

もちろん掛ける相手先の国によって値段は違う。昨日自宅と姉の家に電話してみたが、音声はかなり良い。携帯よりはいい音質。家にかけたときは遅れはなかったが、姉の家に掛けたときは遅れがあって、ちょっと会話がスムースにいかなかったが、時と場合に因るみたい。

In fact, you have to buy a headset etc., if you need. You can talk by using internal microphone and speaker. I got a headset of Logitech (in Japan, Logicool).

Skype is a telephony system based on P2P technology and connect directly users. It has function like messenger, if you are Windows user, you can videochat for free. My parents don’t have a PC, I’m using a service called Skypeout.

In this system, we buy a amount of credit at first, then credit that we use is deducted from our credit.
A amount of credit I bought was 1500yen , I can call about 10 hours.Depends on foreign exchange, I can make a call to Japan just 2yen per minute. It’s cheaper than I make a local call in Japan….
Of course, the rate is different depends on each country.

I called my parents’ home and sister’s home, sound quality was very clear. At least, it’s better than cell phone’s sound quality. There’s no delay when I called my parents’ home.
But when I called my sister, sound delayed and we couldn’t talk smoothly. Delay seems happen according to the time and circumstances.
